Together the Tri-Rail, Brightline, Broward County Transit (BCT) and the Sun Trolley all work together to offer a multi-model system to move people in and around greater Fort Lauderdale and to and from the South Florida Education Center (SFEC) Davie Campus quickly and easily.
Take the Tri-Rail
Students can take the Tri-Rail from any one of 18 conveniently located stations in the tri-county area to the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport stop in Dania Beach. From there, hop on the free SFEC Shuttle to campus on weekdays and the Broward County Transit on the weekends.
Tri-Rail also offers students a 50% discount off its 30-Day Monthly Pass, with presentation of a student ID.
Check Out Brightline
Students who ride the high-speed Brightline train from West Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale can walk from the Brightline station to the Broward Central Terminal next door and transfer to Broward County Transit Bus Route 9, which will take you to the South Florida Education Center (SFEC) Davie Campus.
Brightline trains run 365 days/year from 6:55 a.m. – 8:35 p.m. on weekdays and 9:25 a.m. – 11:35 p.m. on weekends. The brand-new trains are fully equipped with comfortable seats and Wi-Fi. Hop on the Sun Trolley
For students living in Fort Lauderdale, they can take the Sun Trolley’s Neighborhood and NW Community Links to the Broward Central Terminal (BCT) station downtown and transfer to Bus Route 9.
